PRINCIPAL Pianist

 The RGMC has enjoyed the skills and talents of Ben Meixell as a substitute and guest pianist for the last couple years.  He joins the chorus this season as our principal pianist.  

Collaborative Pianist Benjamin Meixell is often praised for his supportive skills at the keyboard.  Since moving to Rochester, New York in 2010 he has become increasingly in demand as both Pianist and Conductor.  

Receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Nazareth College, he has worked both onstage and behind the scenes with ensembles including the Syracuse Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Onondaga Civic Symphony, Syracuse Opera, Rochester Lyric Opera, Geva Theatre, Auditorium Theatre, Rochester Oratorio Society, Resonanz, and the Greece Choral Society as well as many individuals including Daniel Hege, Ward Stare, Lara Downes, Dan Saunders, Cass Morgan, and Theodore Bikel.
